pub enum DerivativeError {
ZeroChiralityContrast,
InvalidSingularValueCotangent,
UnresolvedSingularValue,
UnequalSingularValueWeights,
}Expand description
A stable reason why a requested derivative is unavailable.
Saved metric states encode these reasons independently of their display text.
Variants§
ZeroChiralityContrast
The norm of the helicity contrast is not differentiable at zero.
InvalidSingularValueCotangent
Singular-value weights have the wrong length or contain non-finite values.
UnresolvedSingularValue
A nonzero weight requests the derivative of an unresolved singular value.
UnequalSingularValueWeights
Unequal weights at a repeated singular value depend on singular vectors.
